Mommy and Daddy... What Does Easter Mean?

     "Guess what today is kids?" asked Mommy?  Little Kendall and Colton looked at each other and shook their heads in unison.  "Ummm maybe it's Christmas!" shouted Colton.  "Nope sweetheart. Christmas comes when it's cold outside.  What do you think Kendall? asked Mommy.  "Well, since it's not Christmas and since it's not the most wonderful day of all; our birthday, then it must be Halloween.  Oh Mommy can I be a little princess for Halloween? Please please pretty please?" she said with her hand on her hip.  "That's a very good guess pretty girl but it's not Halloween either," said Mommy.  After hopping around in a little circle pretending to be a rabbit Mommy said, "It's Easter and the Easter bunny is coming!"  "Yay," they screamed together.  "Wow Mommy so I get to wear a suit and dress up like Daddy," Colton asked.  "I can't wait because Mommy is gonna do my hair and put barrettes and ribbons and that yucky stuff that hurts my eyes in my pretty long hair," Kendall said.  "Yes, you are both right and you get to go on an Easter egg hunt and get chocolate candies and goodies," Mommy explained.  "Ho ho ho," Daddy said loudly.  "Ricky you're not funny," Mommy said.  "You mean it's not Christmas Colton," Daddy laughed.  "No and if you're not nice you won't get to go on the Easter egg hunt so there," Colton demanded.  Trying to hold in his laughter Daddy said, "Okay son, I will keep that in mind and I'll be good because I love Easter eggs."  "Daddy daddy," little Kendall yelled running around the corner.  "What sweetie?" Daddy asked.  "I love you Daddy!" she insisted.  "I love my pretty little princess and I love my family too," Daddy said.  They all hugged and laughed.  "Now who wants to color Easter eggs?" Mommy asked.  "Me me me!" the children shouted.  "So Mommy, why does a rabbit come to share eggs with us and what does Easter mean?" Kendall asked.

INTRODUCTION

     Hello everybody!!! I am an inspiring writer with a lot of great ideas for stories and books jumbled up in my head.  One of the ideas is to write HOW TO books for children.  I have never dabbled into children's books so this will be new for me.  I am gonna post bits and pieces of my projects here and I would appreciate any feedback from anyone.  I plan to publish and sell these as ebooks when they are fully developed.  I hope that you all enjoy and thanks for stopping by.  Happy reading!
